What is java used for?
As of 2015, Java is one of the most popular programming languages, designed to be concurrent, class-based, object-oriented, and specifically designed to have as few implementation dependencies as possible, as well as a computing platform first released by Sun Microsystems in 1995.
Java is intended to let application developers can run on all platforms that support Java without the need for recompilation. it’s designed to be portable and run happily across multiple software platforms. Java is advertised, and esteemed for its fast performance, security, and reliability.
Today, There are many places where Java is used for building server-side applications to video games and mobile apps. It’s also the core foundation for developing Android apps, Java is also the main language used to develop native Android apps for smartphones and tablets. With Java and frameworks based on it, web developers can build scalable web apps for a variety of users. particularly for client-server web applications, an enormous amount of applications and websites will not work unless you have Java installed, and more are created every day. I know that one of the reasons that it became a dominant language was because it took cross-platform to a whole new level. The JVM meant that your code worked the same on everything, not just computers. So there are washing machines and toasters that run Java. That’s almost certainly overkill but it does make sense for many embedded environments like smart tvs, dvd players, watches, phones, cars, and more.
